Listening: yesterday’s final mastering of Love Cannot Bear. The second track is Affirmation IMAC. Were I to be buried tomorrow, I would ask that this be played as coffin is carried from church to be placed in grave. The piece affirms that the Spirit is unquenchable: death has no dominion. There is no tragedy in a life well-lived that runs it course, yet there is loss. This is addressed in the following piece: On My Mother’s Birthday.
11.51 The Morning Shift: Exposure: Third Edition, which is the Second Edition with three Daryl songs replacing the re-voiced versions, which will now be moved to the Appendix. Initially, we were putting the Daryls in the Appendix, so anyone might assemble a Third Edition of their choice. Now, we are presenting our own version of the Third Edition with alternative versions in the Appendix, so any audient may re-assemble the Second Edition, if they would like. Now, Exposure: Third Edition - the first run through, ever!
